CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT

The Preloved atelier will set the resale price based on original RP and researching current market value and condition of the preloved item.

Our consignment rate is 40% which is taken out of the resale price at time of sale. 

The consignment payback amount is 60%, which is paid to the consignee within a minimum of 5 days after the sale of the item. 

Consignees are responsible for sending the consignment items by post at their expense to the given address. 

The Preloved Atelier will make minor repairs if it is needed to the item, Ie, attaching a button, for the item to be resalable. The item will be washed if The Preloved atelier deems it necessary for resale. 

It is the Consignee’s responsibility for the item to be clean and in a sellable state. It is also the consignee’s responsibility for larger repairs, dry cleaning or removing stains. 

If the item received from the consignee is not in the same condition as stated, then The Preloved Atelier reserves the right to return the item to the consignee. 

All consignee’s items will be sold on www.theprelovedatelier.co.uk only.

If the consignee wishes for the item back within a 3 week period or after The Preloved atelier has photographed, listed or advertised the item, a £15 admin fee will be requested to cover the cost of photographing, listing and advertising the item. 

If the item does not sell within 10 weeks, The preloved atelier will reduce the resale price to a sale price of 25% off. 

Once it has been in sale for a further 4 weeks and not sold, The preloved atelier can return the item to the consignee. 

The Preloved Atelier only accepts item within their selling seasons. For example, Winter items between September to March. Summer items between March to August.
